CD Cover Research.

This is the album cover from which Luno is taken from, The theme of the album is simplicity, this can be seen on the aesthetics of the album. The album cover is very plain and simple, this reflects the image of the band, They wanted to be portrayed as normal as possible and not show their fame. The album covers are usually plain colours with a small square image in the middle with the main colour of the small image being the main colour on the outer region of the cover. Then with the Famous Gill Sans font that Bloc Party are famous for using, going along with the plain imagery that they so faithfully believe in.

As you can see from these five tracks that were released from that album that the theme is very simple,  referring back to earlier the colours run throughout from the image in the square and onto the backdrop.
Because this is the theme running throughout the album, we thought that we also had to do this style,  our CD cover will be black with a picture of a white peace lilly in the centre square. with black running out from the photo onto the backdrop of the CD cover, keeping with the plain simple aesthetics that Bloc Part are famous for
